Amityville to Montauk, on weekly routes
Green Choice Oriental Rug Cleaning Long Island collects rugs from every town in Suffolk County free of charge and brings them to the plant at 44 Executive Blvd, Farmingdale, on the county's western edge. Western and central Suffolk are on weekly routes with pickups in two to four days; the East End, the Hamptons and the North Fork are on a weekly route of their own.
Book a pickupWestern Suffolk is close to the plant and dense with rugs: Huntington, Cold Spring Harbor, Lloyd Harbor, Northport, Dix Hills and Melville send Persian rugs, Oushaks, Moroccans and designer Tibetans; Babylon, Lindenhurst, West Islip, Bay Shore and Brentwood send family rugs and, after storms, flooded ones. Central Suffolk (Smithtown, Commack, Hauppauge, Islip, Sayville, Patchogue, Stony Brook, Setauket, Port Jefferson) is a weekly route with a mix of everything. The East End route reaches the North Fork and the Hamptons every week, and it is the busiest in spring and September, when summer houses open and close and the Beni Ourains and dhurries come out of the beach houses full of sand.
Rugs are rolled pile‑out and wrapped for the route.
